These series of mini-sculptures are created just after the Coup attempt in mid-July, 2017. Turkey's political agenda, it's physical and psychological effects and the alienation it creates are behind the "Not Mine Series".

 

The first sculpture;  "Not Mine Anymore" shows an obvious drowning state of a person It relates to the feeling of being left out of breath.

 

The second piece "Not Me Anymore" shows a beaten down, battered state of mind. It reflects the idea of struggle to exist as an individual without losing identity in the society.

 

The last piece "No Me Anymore" shows a figure hardly resembles a person, that the mouth and face are ripped off from her.
